We're excited to bring you the newest evolution of our commitment to making opportunities for artisans to have their work on display. This is Uniquely Handmade: An Artisan Market, a juried virtual show bringing artisans and patrons together from the ease of their favorite devices. 

 

This year, we've taken the artisan fair we've provided for three years and upgraded to a virtual gallery here on the website to allow patrons to browse all the works at once while including a link to the artisan's website or social media for more opportunities to purchase their original works and connect directly with the artisans themselves.

This year's show will happen September 27 - October 10, 2024, and is open to the public. Artisans who wish to apply need not be Makers Together™ members.

Requirements to apply:

 

All works submitted must be handmade and of original design by the artisan. No manufactured goods, kits, licensed patterns, purchased products or direct-sale items will be accepted.

• Applicants may submit a maximum of 3 works for consideration

• Artisans who wish to apply need not be Makers Together™ members.

• Artisans must supply an email or link for patrons to purchase the piece (or to view other works if the piece sells during the show). Makers Together™ does not offer consignment.

• Fees are due upon acceptance into the show, and participants will be notified by email with details by August 27, 2024.

• Artwork accepted into the show must be available for sale the day the show opens. If a work sells, artisan MUST inform the show coordinator so they can mark it as [sold] in the title.

• Applicants must be US residents and able to ship artwork if it sells.

Fees

​

There is no fee to apply. Applicants accepted into the show will be send email confirmation with payment instructions. The fee to participate once accepted is a flat $60 for non-members ($50 for members); (one fee for up to 3 pieces, not per piece).

Promotion

​

Makers Together™ will promote this event in its social media channels with teaser posts before the show begins, tagging participants as the show progresses, banner on our home page and Facebook ads during the run of the show. We ask all participants to promote their involvement in the show to their social media followers as well.
