Let's Talk Insurance

Insurance is one of those business topics that feels important, necessary, and oddly hard to talk about without your eyes glazing over. This Makers Together group discussion is designed to change that.

We’ll talk openly about the types of insurance coverage artisan and maker businesses are commonly asked to carry by event coordinators, galleries, and venues. Members will have the opportunity to share what coverage they use, what questions they asked their insurance representatives, and what they wish they’d known sooner.

Plus, special guest Jan Stage, former risk management specialist, will be there to help us decide the questions we should ask our insurance representatives as well as those hosting the events we attend as vendors.
