About The Event

One of the hardest things for many artisans and makers is to learn to talk about themselves and their work. Often, it’s a matter of simply not having practiced doing so, and any expert would recommend asking friends or family to listen to you practice until one is comfortable with their message.

But also common, is a need to look at how we perceive ourselves and our work, in order to overcome feelings that we aren’t ready or qualified to put that combination out there to be considered.

On February 20th, Sarah Crawford of Sitawi Life Coaching will discuss some common thought processes that could be hindering the ability to positively talk about ourselves. We’ll discuss:

  • how to lessen self judgement and fear when they are keeping us from portraying ourselves as artisans/makers and offering our work/creations/art to others
  • a simple way to begin shifting thought patterns around offering your work that takes advantage of neuroplasticity in the brain
  • why your work matters and how to tap into the place of clarity and authenticity within you while discussing it

Come discover new ways to think that can help free you to promote your creative business and yourself as an artisan/maker to others.
