When you’re getting ready to place your 2-D work in a gallery or other exhibit, how do you decide the best way to present it? On March 12th, we’re talking through questions to ask such as:
What are the Art Show Rules/Guidelines (such as requirements for hanging, what they need for placards/format)?
Do you need to frame it? Do you need a mat?
What kind of hardware will you need? Hanging system?
Our very own Sara Mullen-Hornung is going to walk us through installing the work for her husband’s recent exhibit at Mosquito Hill. She’ll talk about how they decided on the look they wanted and what kinds of things they had to do to get the work up onto the walls within the exhibition guidelines.
